Garnet

Garnet is the stone of health, clearing the chakras and stimulating kundalini energy, providing vitality to the entire body. Garnet enhances one's internal fire, increasing creative powers, and promoting expansiveness in awareness and manifestation.

Rudraksha

Rudraksha beads, meaning "eye of Shiva" in Sanskrit, have been worn by Sages and Yogis since Vedic times for their profound spiritual significance and powerful healing properties. According to ancient Vedic texts Lord Shiva went into deep meditation for the well being of all living creatures. When he awoke, he opened his eyes, and tears of compassion fell to the earth and these tears took the form of Rudraksha Seeds to assist humanity in our healing. The Rudraksha beads are believed to be endowed with cosmic powers to elevate the soul and assist on the path of ascension. It is believed that the Rudraksha contains the secrets of the entire evolution of the cosmos within it.

A stimulant and cleanser of all the Chakras, this sacred seed can help us reach spiritual fulfillment through meditation and prayer. It’s known to encourage creativity, health, happiness, and empowerment.

About your Mala

The word “mala” means garland or necklace, in Sanskrit. These traditional 108 bead tassel Buddhist Malas, used for prayer or as sacred necklaces, are custom-made for Sansaara Living. All malas are made using the highest quality natural gemstones and beads.  These males are ethically sourced. Their sturdy bead cord, with each stone individually hand-knotted, gives the malas extra strength and longevity, making them a truly hand-made product!

The number 108 is an auspicious and spiritually significant number.  The 109th stone, or GURU bead, symbolizes gratitude and our connection to the divine. It is a way to say thank you to all the spiritual teachers who have helped us on our path to enlightenment.

Each mala comes with a tag explaining the healing benefits of the stones or beads for the wearer.

There a variety of ways to cleanse your gemstones.

  • You can clean and recharge your stones by placing them in the sunlight or moonlight.  Be careful.  Some gemstones are light-sensitive and will discolor. Amethyst, rose quartz, and amber are a few stones that are sensitive to light.
  • Running your gemstones underwater will also cleanse them.  You will want to do this for several minutes, even up to 10 minutes.  You can also soak them in saltwater.  You will want to soak them overnight.  Rinse them with clean water when you are finished soaking them.
  • Another easy way to cleanse your gemstones is to place them with other stones that are natural cleaners.  Selenite, clear quartz will clean and amplify the energy of other stones.   Earth and Fire are also cleansers.
  • Some stones are delicate such as hematite and pyrite.  Do some investigation before choosing this method.
  • Bury your stones in the earth overnight.
  • Smoke from smudging clears away negative energy.  You can burn sage, palo santo, sandalwood, and cedarwood over your gemstones.   Smudge for several moments.
